I fell in love with these gorgeous filigree teardrop charms. The main focal point of these exquisite feminine handmade earrings is the filigree teardrop charms. The charms are antique silver with a lace filigree design. So romantic, feminine, and lightweight. I accented the charms with a blue rose vintage Japanese Limoges style glass decal cabochon. I have to say, Wow! You are getting two stones in one setting: a blue rose Limoges with a light turquoise crystal. The stones are in a silver closed-back setting. These Art nouveau earrings dangle freely from brass French hook ear wires. Can you imagine the wind blowing your earrings freely, what a wonderful sight that would be!

The story of the blue rose?
The first myth of the blue rose came from China where, as the story goes, an emperor’s daughter was to be married and her father allowed her to set one condition for her suitors. The condition was that the princess would only marry a man who was able to bring her a blue rose. Therefore, the blue rose represents something impossible to accomplish. something unattainable that will only remain a dream that can never be realized. When falling in love, the roses in blue can bring hope for an unlikely or unrequited falling love.
