Wow these earrings take my breath away every time I look at them, I hope they do the same for you. When I designed these earrings, I was thinking about the beauty of roses along with the Victorian Style and the blue rose porcelain charms. Of course, I had to choose a Swarovski light sapphire stone to accent the rose charm. I truly fell in love with the marquise ear wires and knew they would fit perfectly with these romantic earrings.

What is the story of the blue rose?
The first myth of the blue rose came from China where, as the story goes, an emperor's daughter was to be married and her father allowed her to set one condition for her suitors. The condition was that the princess would only marry a man who was able to bring her a blue rose. Therefore, the blue rose represents something impossible to accomplish. something unattainable that will only remain a dream that can never be realized. When falling in love, the roses in blue can bring hope for an unlikely or unrequited falling love.

- These blue rose porcelain charms. These charms are Japanese vintage millefiori stone circa the 1950s.
- Swarovski light sapphire round stone.
- Gold-filled jump rings.
- The gorgeous feminine ear wire that I attached are double marquise hook ear wires and are gold-plated sterling silver. The ear wires add a touch of elegance. So Romantic!
