I love cameos and keys. I wanted to design a long necklace using a cameo and keys so it can be worn during the Fall and Winter seasons. I wanted to portray the Victorian Era.
The Victorian lady cameo pendant is glued to a copper filigree setting. I love to change the look of some of my jewelry pieces to give them the appearance of the Victorian Era and that's what I did with the keys. I patina the keys which gave them a glossy look. Then I added Swarovski crystal rhinestones and Swarovski Bordeaux crystal pearls for a unique style. The Bordeaux color is so rich you can taste it. I also added Swarovski crystal beads to this necklace to add sparkle.
Keys are important objects in our daily lives, though we never give them a second thought. They open doors, and beyond those doors are things that provide us with comfort or happiness. But keys also have metaphysical powers and symbolism. They represent knowledge, mystery, initiation, and curiosity.

- 1 x 3/4-inch lady cameo...resin. This is an exquisite cameo!! Richly detailed... a lovely bouquet decorates the bodice of her gown. The cameo is ivory on dark carnelian.
- 1 1/4 x 1-inch copper plated filigree setting
- Swarovski crystal beads (AB) and Bordeaux crystal pearls.
- Swarovski rose rhinestones.
- Antique bronze-plated head pins.
- Antique bronze plated filigree bead caps.
- Antique bronze plated chain, the style is a Figaro. The chain is lead-free and nickel free.
- Patina paste.
- Epoxy glue.
- Bronze-plated lobster clasp.
The length of the necklace is 24 inches long with the charms adding another 3 inches.
The necklace weighs 1.15 ounces.
